• Ilyushin IL-76 Candid: This ex Uzbekistan strategic freighter is operating Mil-Air missions in Eastern Europe, Russia and Middle East. It can carry up to 140 troops or 40 tonne payload over a distance of 2700nm or 20t for 3940nm. Il-78 'Midas' is capable of air-to-air refuelling. [ENGINES: Four 26455lb Aviadvigatel (Soloviev) turbofans, RANGE: 3940nm, SPEED: 460kt max.]

   

• Lockheed L1011-500 K1: Mil-Air purchased this ex RAF aircraft for its long distance Tanker/Cargo/Pax missions. Multiple capabilities of K1 are very useful for our uncommon mission requests. As per the agreement, Mil-Air is operating K1 with RAF registration and colours. [ENGINES: Three 50000lb RR turbofans, RANGE: 6100nm, SPEED: 518kt max.]

   

• Boeing 777-300: This is the stretched version of the 777-200, which is aimed at replacing the older 747-200s. 777-300 is currently the world's longest airliner at 242 feet 4 inches seating up to 550 passengers. Due to the heavy demand for long distance missions, Mil-Air purchased this aircraft directly from Boeing. To avoid unwanted attention in far away places aircraft's factory colour scheme was not changed. [ENGINES: Two 90000lb P&W turbofans, RANGE: 5720nm, SPEED: 482kt max.]

  

• Northrop Grumman E-8: The Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (Joint STARS) is an airborne platform equipped with a long-range, air-to-ground surveillance system designed to locate, classify and track ground targets in all weather conditions. [ENGINES: Four 18000lb Pratt & Whitney turbofans, ENDURANCE: 11hr, SPEED: 545kt]

  

• Airbus A330-200: The A330 made its first fight on November 1992, a year after the A340. For the passengers it offers a comfortable, very quiet, cabin. For Mil-Air, A330 offers a better payload carrying capability, better range and take-off performance, and very low operation costs. To avoid unwanted attention in isolated airports aircraft's factory colour scheme was not changed. [ENGINES: Two 67500lb GE turbofans, RANGE: at MTOW 4800nm, SPEED: 475kt max.] Note: The A330 file given here is for FS2000.

   

• Boeing 767-400ER: This is the stretched 'Extended Range' version of the 767-300ER, which has 21' fuselage stretch and 7' 8" long raked wingtips. Cockpit has 777 style six multifunction displays. Exclusively used for long distance troop movements 767's all new interior is similar to 777. To avoid unwanted attention in isolated airports aircraft's factory colour scheme was not changed. [ENGINES: Two 63300lb P&W turbofans, RANGE: 5580nm, SPEED: 486kt max.]

• MD KC-10A Extender: Derived from DC-10, Mil-Air obtained this versatile aircraft to supplement Lockheed K1. Besides having military avionics, its other differences are the added fuel tanks in the fuselage, wing mounted drogue pods and the Aerial Refueling Operator compartment in the rear of the aircraft. KC-10 is used mostly on South Pacific and South American missions. [ENGINES: Three 52500lb GE turbofans, RANGE: 5760nm, SPEED: 530kt max.]

   

• Antonov AN-124 Ruslan: Mil-Air has contracted this giant heavy lift strategic transport aircraft to carry over sized cargo in the main deck, and up to 88 passengers in the upper deck. [ENGINES: Four 51590lb Progress (Lotarev) turbofans, RANGE: 8900nm with max fuel or 2430nm with 150 tonne payload, SPEED: 468kt max.]

   

• Lockheed C-5 Galaxy: Another heavy from the USAF inventory, it is utilized to move massive amounts of equipment and troops with one flight. Mil-Air is contracted to fly this aircraft for long range domestic and international flights. It can carry 350 troops or 130 tonne payload over a distance of 2982nm. [ENGINES: Four 43000lb GE turbofans, RANGE: Max fuel-5618nm, SPEED: 496kt max.]

   

• Airbus A300-600ST Beluga: This mammoth Super Transporter is used to carry oversize high volume cargo all over the world. ST is based on the A300-600 airliner, with which it shares the wing, lower fuselage, main landing gear and cockpit. Its internal volume is massive 49442cu/ft, but max payload is limited to 103615lb. To avoid unwanted attention in isolated airports aircraft's factory colour scheme was not changed. [ENGINES: Two 59000lb GE turbofans, RANGE: with 66150lb load-2160nm, SPEED: 421kt max.]
